I can hear your voice
Accompanied by the witty sounds of choice.
Still,
I can see your face
Painted with the best colors of grace.
Still,
I can feel your touch
Surrounded by blazing fires that my heart cannot detach.
Today,
I am still living in your time
Trying to connect the remnants I’ve always wanted to combine.
From the image of a stranger passing by,
Form the leaf that rides the wind without saying goodbye,
From the cold breeze that brushes my soul,
From the bright stars that never fall,
I can see you.
From the letters that my hand had perfectly stroked,
From the whispers that my tongue had fluently spoke,
From the sweet smiles that you never saw,
Form the rights that were never written in love’s law,
I can see you.
However amidst of these,
I ask myself if you also take risks
In looking for me,
In staring at me.
How about you?
Do you also think of me like the way I do?
Drinking the empty cup unconsciously,
I’ll stay outside and wait patiently.
With the painful memories I don’t want to stay,
Inside the clean mirror I will walk away.
For tomorrow I want pain to surrender.
So walking away with the memories I will consider.
